I replaced the standard seat with a LePera Bare Bones solo seat and
installed 11" Progressive shocks in the rear. -- Pat

Here I am with my VStar. I will have been riding a year next month and am
I having fun!! This is the best bike for me. Everyone who sees it says
"don't tell me you can ride that big bike!!" I never thought I
would be able to ride any grown up bike because I am so short
(4'10"), but because of the encouragement I got from your website
(along with my hubby and girlfriends) I took the MSF course and did lots
of practicing, taking baby steps along the way, and here I am a year later
riding all over Oklahoma and having the time of my life!! And believe me,
if I can learn to ride, anyone can!! -- Linwebs

We did it!! We took a 2 month trip on
our Kawasaki Vulcan 500 LTD's. We live in north-central IL. We rode the
"Vulcan Twins" west to national parks in the Rocky Mountains. --

I love your site and refer to it for everything! I'm a
brand new rider, at 49. Going for my test next week, I've been riding with
a permit for 3 months. This is what I learned on . . . my Honda Magna 750.
Really fast bike for a beginner, but I got a great deal on it. Yee-ha!
Thanks for being there. -- Quinn

I
took the MSF course in May (passed), purchased a '99
Kawasaki
Vulcan 750, practiced in/around our neighborhood for several weeks, then
hit the road. Can I tell you how surprised I am that I'm REALLY good at
this? Friends we ride with are amazed that I'm a new rider. Hubby is
impressed too. -- Amanda in Ft. Lauderdale

I finally have some pictures! My 14 year old
daughter took them, so you'll have to excuse Mom's goofy faces.
Why is it they always take them at the worst moments? I'm really
glad they are not glamour shots! *LOL* Anyway,
there is both the VTX 1300 and the Goldwing Trike on there. Now you can
at least put my mug to my name. : ) - Sara Stevens

Here is a recent pic of me and my 2006 HD Deluxe enroute to
Seaside, OR. In 2 months I've accumulated 2,000 miles and there are many
more to come. This is the most fun I've had, (and this is the coolest I've
ever been)! Ride on! -- Monica
